Luis Graduated from Vanderbilt Law School on May 11, 2007!

Mom had a memorable Mother's Day with a tour of the Parthenon and Alex.  Third sent had roses sent to her that morning too.

Remember what my back yard used to look like?

Luis's birthday present to me was to landscape my backyard.

I had always wanted a Japanese garden...now I have my very own!  I absolutely love it!  Luis worked really hard, and he

even tiled my concrete pad with slate and found  and hauled in some natural stepping stones.

I got to help to by staining the deck and planting some of the flowers.

That's a Japanese Maple in the left corner.  In time it will grow.            Asiatic Lilies above.

Gourmet Summer Lunches at the Symphony.  I've eaten there 3 times this week with my friends and co-workers.

Every day has a different themed lunch accompanied w/ music.  Day 1: Caribbean, 2:Cuban and Hispanic, 3: Brazilian.

$11 for all you can eat buffet...can't beat that!

On the way home we took a detour to Mobile because we were craving OYSTERS!!  We ate at a restaurant called Felix's Grille.  It was yummy.

 Haha!  How do you like my new profile pic now?  That was my cheesy sweet sixteen pose aka awkward adolescence.  It's hard to believe that was 12 years ago.

Yesterday was a good birthday.  Thanks to all my family, friends, and my sweet Luis who made it special!

My friend Meaghan surprised me with a fruit pizza that she baked for me, and then Meaghan and Danielle took me out to our traditional girl's birthday lunch.

Luis bought me dinner and then had to get back to writing his thesis that's due this morning.  In couple of hours, we'll be on our way to New Orleans that to celebrate further!!

These beautiful roses are from my darling Mom and DaD!  They were delivered to me at work.  It was a delightful surprise and they smell so good!

February and March update:

A couple of weekends ago Luis's little sister Victoria came to visit.  She's nine years old, and very very sweet!  Miss Rivadeneira and Victoria

drove through Nashville on their way to the mountains of East TN.  We took Victoria bowling.  She did great for her first time, and even got a strike.

I threw a little get-together for Joey's birthday.  I cooked Sinigang for the first time. It actually tasted like Yayay's.

Greer and Joey.  (Joey matches my color scheme for the dining room.)  Then Ave, me, and Dave above. 

Tim and Rechella.  (They are officially a couple!)  Luis, Oscar, and Ave. (Ave loves Luis)  She usually say's "no!"  If you let anyone else hold her, w/ the exception of her parents.
